International Women's Day has been celebrated across the world for more than 100 years, and, on 8 March 2026, Lucky Cat will be hosting women from across the city for a celebration of modern womanhood, ambition, and connection.

Delivered in partnership with The Wellness Tribe, the day seeks to bring together networking, mindfulness, and an exceptional dining experience in one immersive afternoon.

The experience is centred around a panel discussion featuring three successful women in business offering insight into leadership and their expertise in their respective fields. Lucie Macleod (founder of Hair Syrup), Georgia Smith (founder of Balanced Boss), and social media and marketing expert Farron Clark will participate, seeking to inspire more ambitious women.

Attendees will also experience a three-course lunch created by the Head Chef at Lucky Cat Manchester and tailored cocktails from female founded 818 Tequila who are sponsoring the event. The afternoon will conclude with a live female DJ set, creating space to celebrate, connect, and network with like-minded women.

International Women's Day has been celebrated in the UK since 1911, inspired by women's fight for gender equality to mark both the steps which have already been taken for a more equal world, and the steps which are still to come.

This year's theme, 'Give to Gain', hopes to encourage reciprocal support and generosity for women across the world.

Lucky Cat's event is set to run from 12:00pm-7:00pm on Sunday 8th March and tickets are available from £111 here.
